Clark Planetarium is a great place to visit for people of all ages. Very new facility that is clean and wonderful displays. I love visiting this planetarium. One piece of advice though. They have a great selection of telescopes but you should NEVER buy one from them. After years of star gazing and using binoculars I decided step it up... more

This is one of my very favorite places in Salt Lake City. The Planetarium is in the Gateway Mall, an outdoor mall with lots of interesting stores, live music, and good restaurants. Our visits to the Clark Planetarium were so enjoyed-we bought a membership! The Planetarium offers great shows on IMAX as well as in the Hansen Dome. Most are appropriate for the very young child while still informative and enthralling for the adult. They also offer late evening music performances----light and star shows. My husband enjoys those.
