Other than that, the beach facilities are almost non-existent (you'd better come in a camper). The bottom is muddy and there are some sharp sells -- better use surf shoes. You have to bring your own food -- there is nothing on-site.

People there acted like they were doing you a favor. Very unpleasant experience all the way around. They claim their prices are reasonable. I guess you get what you pay for.

There are plenty of other places to windsurf. This place is a hangout for grumpy old men and fishermen. I've made the drive from Houston to Corpus Christi a number of times just to visit Worldwinds and do some windsurfing. Friendly staff and decent equipment - I would recommend them highly

This is an excellent place to windsurf, rent or buy gear and just have fun. Staff is very friendly and great help. They offer very fair rental pricing on windsurfing and kayaks.
