This is a relatively uncrowded park for being so close to Tucson. The views of the Catalinas are out of this world, and its a great place to hike. This park, in the Tucson area is way under-rated! Other parks such as Picacho Peak (over-rated!) and Sabino Canyon are on the radar-screen but not this gem. You won't have to worry about this being overcrowded with tourists. Its a beautiful, quiet state park. Rent a car and drive up. The views are phenominal. There is a lot of damage from wildfires, but they are working on replanting. more
