This trip was simply out of the world.I felt like in Heaven.The trails 2 and 9 are the best with gushing waterfalls and lots of places to picnic.The cardinals are shy and I could not snap them but they are bright and beautiful.The driver showed some more birds, snakes and mesquite,saguaro for entertainment. Sabino Canyon is a beautiful little canyon on the edge of Tucson. Bring sunblock, lots and lots of water or Gatorade, water friendly clothes, hat, sunglasses. Bring your camera for beautiful pictures; great for portraits of thekids, etc. This place is really great for an early a.m. run or walk. The open tram is lots of fun for the kids... more

There is a tram that runs up and down the canyon. It's worth the extra cost for the ease and convenience. Very pretty place! Take your time. Bring a picnic! more
