This place, in my opinion, was the best tour. The dungeon put a very real and frightening light on what the men, women, and children were forced to endure during this hysteria.

Yes I agree the props were a but cheesy but the overall experience is worth the trip. The building itself is interesting and the short skit at the beginning was well done. Our guide was very informative and stressed the importance of this event in history and how sometimes the "witch" atmosphere of Salem overshadows what really happened in 1692.
Tour starts with a dramatization of the witch trials and then they lead you to the dungeon and describe each scene for you to experience what the conditions were like for those accused of witchcraft and awaited trial or sentencing. Very informative and we had a very knowledgeable guide.
The live short play they did was not only entertaining it was quite eye opening. The dungeon is really built. The guide was great!!!

a great small museum in salem, the witch dongeon is off the beaten path but worth the trip. the facility is well kept and interesting the tour isnt too long or too short and the price is reasonable for salem. one of my favorites

Don't waste your time and money. Let me repeat - DO NOT GO! This is the cheesiest exhibit I have ever paid money to enter.
If you like touristy, this is your place. But it's overpriced and there wasn't much to see. The tour guides had little to no enthusiasm. If you're familiar enough with the history of Salem, this place adds little.
The witch trial play at the beginning was cute, a bit cheesy, but interesting and informative. The dungeon was very low tech and I think probably conveyed the conditions accurately, but was mostly a lead up to the gift shop where the kitsch kicked in.
