It’s ain’t easy to surprise this sometimes jaded theatre veteran. Yet last night I had the pleasure to be amidst an audience that sat in stunned silence at the close of a preview performance at Salem Theatre Company. Literally, no one moved! We went to see the current play "AN EMPTY PLATE IN THE CAFE DU GRAND BOEUF" We enjoyed it thoroughly. Great cast. Better than most regional theater. We went to see The Woman in Black over the Columbus Day weekend and enjoyed it very much. Although it only had two actors, they had a wonderful range of expressions and did a very good job conveying the different emotions of the story.
