At the very least take a drive down this small neighborhood. Some of the houses are beautiful and some will break your heart to see the state of disrepair they are in. We drove through two streets in the King William Historical District, and admired the many huge old homes. It would have been helpful to have a detailed map of the area, to point out interesting homes, etc. It reminded us a lot of Savannah, with the beautiful architecture, and lush greenery. Definitely worth a drive or walk through the area. more

historical houses galore, and an OLD pedestrian bridge nestled in the hood. bike it or drive it. really nice architecture...a good half hour activity on your way to or after dinner...enjoy! more
