A good golf course with a test for anyone with the wind blowing. Course condition was good. Enjoyable round had by all in the group and for $60, you can't really go wrong

As a local i hate adding to the wait to get a tee time but it's the right thing to do. Located 20 minutes from downtown less if you by the airport this is the best way to get a glipse of hill country golf. Great practice facility to warm up. beautiful course with a ton of elevation change and...

Course probably needed another 2 weeks of spring and greening up. Greens running nicely. We were able to finish in 4 hrs 10 minutes.Played on Sunday. Bunkers were messy and needed tending.
This was a very nice golf course that was in excellent condition considering we were playing in late January. While it is not necessarily an easy course, it is set up so you can enjoy your experience regardless of your handicap.
My sister had her wedding ceremony and reception at Canyon Springs Golf Club. The ceremony was on the last hole which has a waterfall. The waterfall was a gorgeous background for the wedding!! The staff carted the guests to and from the ceremony site. Kudos to Jared as the food was delicious and the staff was very cordial. The clubhouse...

Previous reviews are a tad dated so here is my contribution. GPS is included in all carts for no additional fee. The course is in amazing shape. The fairways and greens are among the best in San Antonio. When my friends ask me to explain "Texas Hill Country golf" I take them to Canyon Springs. You will not be disappointed.
I just returned from a trip to San Antonio 2/25/07. I had the opportunity to play golf while visiting SA. A public golf course that charges $106.00 for a round of golf should at least have greens cut. They were rolling to around 7.5-8.I probably sound like I'm a griping, I am. There were two holes that were challenging the...

Played a practice round then a business scramble the next day. The only thing that wasn't excellent was the weather..but what's a little February rain in Texas?
Great food, service, practice area, course layout, etc. The only negative thing I can think of is the unfinished cart path going to hole 14....but give them some time.
The layout is beautiful....

I just wanted to offer a qualified opinion. The person that left the previous rating obviously has no idea what a great course is like. You have to pay for the GPS in order for it to work. Canyon Springs is one of the finest golf courses I have played in Texas. I play all across the country including Myrtle...

The course was in excellent shape but there are no yard markers to be found and the GPS does not work properly. We even had to ask other foursomes about their GPS, thinking it might only be our carts and they too were upset at the inaccurate readings compounded by the lack of markings around the course. You would expect...
