This place was beautiful. We took one of the trolley tours there, but if you have a car I would save the money and just drive there. If you go on a Sunday, go in the afternoon unless you want to go toa catholic mass. The park staff are informative...there is a lot of history...the church is beautiful. I believe... more

Wow. I took probably 400 pictures in the 4 missions alone. San Jose is the largest and it has a good film that they show in the visitors centre on the history behind them. Some of them are almost completely in ruins but they are all working churches today and so cool. I wouldn't go to San Antonio without visiting... more

We went to a Sunday mass at noon, complete with a mariachi band playing the music. It was a great experience to worship in such a historical place.
