Beautiful home, grounds, and location along the river. We went for breakfast and ate inside but would probably choose the inviting outside dinning area if we went again. The biscuits served here are worth the trip alone - large, moist, flavorful, with a great texture. The strawberry waffles are tasty too. This is a great little gem in the King... More

This historical house in the King William area is well worth a visit. It gives a glimpse of the way an upper class German family lived in early San Antonio.

We didn't eat here, although it smelled wonderful. We were walking through the King William District and decided to take a look. Small museum with history of the flour mill and a cute gift shop along with the restaurant. I wouldn't come here unless I was in the area or was there to eat, but worth a stop otherwise.

We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table and the food was average. The atmosphere was very nice, but I wouldn't wait that long again for the Guenther House.

Not much of a museum - one room - but worth it to see the King William District, the architecture, and eat at the restaurant.

Great food and service in a charming atmosphere. Nice place for a special occasion as well and a nicely varied menu reasonably priced.

My husband and I love to go here for special occasions. The grounds are beautiful and the food is delicious. It is fun to explore the antique room furnishings and the little shop while we wait to be seated.
