I loved exploring San Juan Island - I can see the south end of the island from my kitchen window but had never driven it before. Very impressed.

A nice place to stop and enjoy the views overlooking the waters off Victoria. There are rocks and pools for the children to scramble over and explore. But with caution.

Cattle Point is at the tip of San Juan Island and is a drive through open lands. Once there you find a little building that was once a military outpost. Not much else. Always one of my favorite spots when visiting the island! I love the design of the little 1920's era facility right on the shoreline looking across to lopez island. LOVE this little spoot on the southern most tip of the island.

If you bring your car to Friday Harbor, be sure and take a drive around the Island. Don't miss Cattle Point road. The views are breathtaking. If you didn't drive, visit Susie's and rent a scooter.
