The Plaza is the center of the downtown Santa Fe are and is fun anytime of the year - especially during the holidays. Great place for people-watching! Don't miss the Plaza Diner! Fantastic food and carrot cake!

Loved the Mexican-style plaza. Not enough benches for everyone! Great live music and food. On the southwest side of the plaza you'll find a very handy Five & Dime General Store.

Hotels and real estate are measured in time to the plaza. People watching is great. During the summer there is music at noon and early evening.

My perception did not meet reality: crowded and did not find the architectural lay out at all impressive

I love to walk around and people watch...or to have a drink on one of the balcony restaurants!

It isn't that there is anything spectacular about the park in the Central Plaza. It's pleasant. There's a statue dedicated to Indian fighters and the Union troops that battled the "rebels" at Glorieta Pass. But there are pleasant places to sit and rest, food at all levels around the park. NO homeless people the 2 days I was there. Lots... More

The Plaza in Santa Fe is a beautiful meeting place for all cultures. I has 400 years and more of history to share with all that visit. During the summer months, music plays every night and the smell of the foods from all over the world entice you....the drawback is the many homeless folks that ask for assistance....even though the... People congregate in the Plaza as it's a stepping stone to any number of sights in the city. Lots to see and do and eat. It's right in the center of town and easy to find. Lotsof interesting shops on the outskirts of the Plaza.

You have to spend a morning or a day at the plaza. Alot to see with the shops and people watching. Of course the highlight is the trading and talking with the native peoples.

Park square with rotunda. Lots of shops, vendors, eateries of all kinds. Best of all, if you want to relax, there are benches where you can sit, eat your ice cream and listen to the musicians who were everywhere playing. Something for everyone.
