My wife and I visited this site late July 2008. It is a short drive from Santa Fe and well worth seeing. It is very pleasant to walk around the grounds, which have lots of trees and plants. There is an old mill with a pond which is beautiful and quite interesting. There are also a church and living quarters... more

This open air museum is such a delight. The volunteers are dressed in the 1800's and have so much knowledge to share and are just so fun. The buildings are fascinating. This experience is for all ages. I spent 4 hours there and enjoyed every minute - even when it rained. They say you can see everything in 1 1/2... more
