Loved it, but would be nice if you could take pictures.

Tiny in space, but big on representative quality of her renowned works. The museum also offers a nice overview of how she ended up in NM and her relationship both as an artist and then on a more personal level with Alfred Steiglitz. A side visit to a restaurant that carries her name was nice...visited in March of 2011 but date...

Whether or not you are impressed with this art museum will probably depend on whether or not you are a fan of the art of Georgia O'Keefe. I'm familiar with her art, sort of like it, but for me there was not enough here to justify the cost of admission...but again, that's just me. The collection here is not as...

If you love Georgia O'Keeffe's work, then you're bound to appreciate the dedication and beautiful display of some of her best works. Until May 2013 you can enjoy the exhibit of her Nature and Image spell. Here's my story: http://pettprojects.com/santafe.html
The O'Keeffe museum provides a rotating display of her art. The layout is dead ended. Definitely watch the introductory films. On the whole, not a bad experience, but could use a little more focus on the various aspects of her career.
Since I am married to an artist/art teacher she drug me to this museum. She had to drag me out. If you like Georgia's art then it is a don't miss while in Sante Fe. If you don't then don't bother. There are occasional works from other artists for instance Warhol.
Third trip to Santa Fe, first time the museum has been open. Wonderful exhibit of some beautiful paintings and the life of this artist. Looking forward to seeing more works on my next trip.
Fantastic museum! I will return again. Great building, knowledgeable staff. Great location!
I have long been an O'Keeffe fan, but my knowledge of her was primarily limited to her better known works. This museum features lesser known and clearly LESSER works, including very rough and preliminary pencil sketches which were never intended to be seen by the public, and don't deserve to be. Also featured is an exhibit of O'Keeffe's camping gear...

I've seen some of Georgia O'Keefe's paintings, and I think she did her best work when she was younger. There was one painting at the beginning of the exhibit that was lovely painted in 1919, think.. Her later work lacked expression and blending of colors. For instance if she wanted something brown, she painted plain brown. Learning more about Georgia...
