“not for an old fat guy”

I was with my 30-year old daughter, who is in much better shape than me. The trail is pretty steep at the beginning. I'm going to try it again when I'm in better shape!

This is a nice distance (~2 miles each way), with some fairly steep climbing in the first 1/2 of the trail on your way to Beaver lake, but well worth it. We recently hiked the Herring Cove trail, and it is spectacular! He have hiked all over the world and this is a favorite! It is not too long, 1.3 miles one way, but can be combined with other trails to go any length you desire. It is a new trail built in 2010, and is so well done. Quite steep,... More
