Loved the walk through Totem Park...seeing the salmon return to Indian River and work their way up stream. There was a little snow on the mountain tops and Mt. Edgecumbe really looks good at sunset. more
We took the Tribal Bus from the docks and stopped here as suggested by our very friendly and informative driver. Watched a movie about the area and it's people, talked with many talented artists and watched them work on their beautiful handmade items and then strolled through the Totem forest on our way to the Raptor Center. Was another highlight... more
fun for everyone! the park is right where cruise ships are anchored. very pleasant walk through beautiful pine forest looking out to snow capped mountains. the trail is only about a mile loop, so it was easy for kids to run and us older folks to stretch our legs. flat enough for easy wheelchair use. there are several different kinds... more
