If you’re interested in seeing the real America, the kind of America that isn’t centered around an amusement park, then the Harry Houdini Museum should be on your list. It’s a small, one-of-a-kind museum run by Dorothy Dietrich and Dick Brookz in Scranton PA. It’s a converted house in a residential area so be careful not to drive right by... More

This was an extraordinary experience to say the least. My daughter (14) and I went to Scranton last summer for the American Idol concert and had tickets to see the Paranormal show on the night before the concert. Having absolutely no preconceived notions of the place, I can say that the building itself is enough to give you the creeps.... More

This museum was very small and artifacts were haphazardly arranged there was no description of the items. the magic show however was excellent and the woman who did the magic show did an excellent job very much a vaudville type act it was very entertaining overall very entertaining but somewhat expensive especially for at the average of $15-$16 per person

We visited Houdini Museum during spring break and we loved the Magic show and the Museum tour. Dorothy & Bravo were great. Anyone visiting the area should not miss this great show suited for all ages.

My family, friends, and I visited the Houdini museum in Scranton, PA over spring break. The dedication that Dorothy and Bravo the Great have is incredible. This was fun for all ages. Dorothy and Bravo get everyone involved and they know how to make everyone laugh! One of our friends was levetated, another had coins pulled from his pockets out... More

I took my nieces and nephews and my own children to this wonderful attraction. Their age ranges are from 5 years old to 17 years old. The kids and the adults had a blast. My niece was levatated on stage and the cousins are still taking about that! They were all able to pick out awesome souveniers that were not... More

We went on a family trip for 10 days. We did some amazing things, creating memories of a lifetime. Of the dozens of things we did, this was the only low point!!! There are a number of things that went wrong but the one thing of note is the staff were RUDE. Despite our initial encounter at the site with... More

We live about 45 minutes away and have pandered around the thought of visitng this place countless time. Finally on a whim we decided to go. Ticket reservation is odd and requires you to prepay although their system isn't much more than a book with your name scribbled in it. Strangely enough we went off season so there were no... More
