i really enjoyed this museum. it does not seem to be well known. it is quite large at 18000 square feet. i took tour and enjoyed tour by knowledgeable, friendly and helpful docent. staff was very helpful. courtyard with trees from four different climates. electic mix of galleries all dealing with northern arizona, especially native americans: archeology, geology, art, etc.... more

Spent about 2 hours here on our visit to Northern Arizona. The collections focus mainly on Native American culture and were very impressive and extensive. I imagine that if this were your area of interest (for me it's not, that's the only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars) you could likely spend several days wandering though the halls... more
