I was expecting to see more at the Pioneer Museum. It may have been more interesting if there were staff on the grounds outside providing more information. To learn more one had to pay an entrance fee into the building.

Great selection of artifacts from early 1900s ranging from medical to cowboy items. The focus is on actual items and not on a bunch of written information. Even has a little room full of hands on things for kids. Also there is an old train, house and many old farm machinery items. Well worth the $5 fee!

Take the tour it's worth it. Lots of artifacts inside and you can roam around outside, even on a locomotive. Fun little stop.

Sometimes good things do come in small packages and this is one of those times. This museum, which is housed in what was the hospital for the indigent, is very interesting.
