Flagstaff was the surprise part of my trip. From the time we approached Flagstaff we were pleasantly surprised by all the mountains that were beaufully lined with pine trees.... (just roll down the window and smell that clean crisp air) so when we hit the town we were even more delighted with our find. Flagstaff has a beautiful historic downtown... more

I was positively impressed with Flagstaff. It has that “small town” feel yet there is still a lot of culture. The downtown is great. There are a lot of nice restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, and a variety of boutiques and Native-American jewelry stores. Everyone we met in the shops was helpful and talkative.
