The Erie Basin Marina has a great view of Lake Erie, plenty of docks for power/sail boats (and the boaters are friendly). Free parking,a tower you can go up into. The Hatch, a hotdog stand and more, public rest rooms, landing for the Miss Buffalo Boat (that's a good ride) and upscale restaurant, Templeton Landing.

I love the Erie Basin Marina! The sky is like nowhere else...the water from dark and stormy to irridescent glass reflecting the sun and the walk along the ships, gardens and shore of the Erie Basin Marina any season is Buffalo in her glory. Have a great meal somewhere in Buffalo and then get to the Marina and enjoy the waterfront view, check out Sailboats, get some exercise and have an Ice cream in the fresh air!

Awesome location. . . but not easy to find. Tucked behind the city. Lot of things to do and see. Nice place to walk or ride bike. Just relax and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Really close to the Naval park and Erie Canal Harbor. Good restaurant onsite - "The Hatch". Lovely to grab a bite and enjoy the scenic area......

For visitors to downtown Buffalo, no visit is complete without visiting (even for a short while) the Erie Basin Marina. Here you can walk along the rocks and see where Lake Erie meets the Niagara River. It's a prime spot for boaters. In addition, you can walk up to the top of the Marina's observation tower to get a GREAT...
