My advice is to start any first visit to Newport by driving south down Bellevue Avenue (where most of the famous mansions are located) and continuing around the curve at the end of Bellevue onto Ocean Drive. If your are visiting Newport Ocean Drive is a must, the views are amazing!!!!!! There is a nice park like setting where you can have a picnic lunch and sit and look over the ocean . There are also public restrooms. more
