Maintained and operated by core of volunteers - last active battleship in world and de-commissioned about 1994, place where surrender was signed by Japanese high command and emperor.

This is the most visited site in Hawaii I've been told. It is starting to show the wear of the years and the weather. Please think about making a donation for renovation efforts while you're there.

When we arrived onto the Arizona, it became very solemn. But beautifully done. A wonderful monument.

Can't believe what we saw. Definitely over whelming and sobering moment. Great visit.

Walking through the grounds and museum, and watching the film really teaches you a lot about the day that will live in infamy. The ride to the actual memorial is handled very well, and seeing the sight is very humbling. A definite "must-see" if you are on Oahu.

One of the most visited sites in Hawaii, honors the men and women lost on December 7,1941 when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. Watch a movie, take a Navy launch to the Pearl Harbor Memorial. Take bus #42 for $2,50 and stay all day, it's free, run by the National Park Service.

Every single American who visits O'ahu absolutely MUST visit the USS Arizona Memorial as well as the other attractions/museums in the park. It's an extremely humbling and surreal experience.

The museum and the movie, as well as the trip to the USS Arizona Memorial are moving and a reminder of what our veterans have done in the service of our country. We must never forget the sacrifice of those who perished here so long ago. We must never forget the service these men, and countless men and women since... More
