We were somewhat disappointed when we arrived at the Maritime Museum and found out it was closed for repairs. The Falls of Clyde was sitting next to the pier where the museum is located and did not look in great shape. It could have used some maintenance because the hull seemed to be rusting. The Falls of Clyde is the last surviving iron masted sailing tall ship in the world. She sailed between Europe and Hawaii then San Francisco to Hawaii carrying fuel and molasses.
