This is a great museum and would be a shame to miss. The surrounding park is well put together and both informative and thought provoking. The Bowfin itself was incredible. My kids loved it and couldn't believe people could live in such tight quarters for that long. Definitely worth the time! more

Once you enter the Bowfin, it is quite interesting. However, trying to enter the Bowfin is even more interesting. You are at a World War II memorial, but when you try to enter the submarine, the staff stops you in order to take a cheesy tourist photo on the dock in hopes of making money. It is just ridiculous. The Bowfin was interesting and really convenient to the Arizona if you are short on time. They have obviously spent a lot of time polishing up the ship and the folks onboard were good about answering questions. The hatches are small - I'm a bit round but in reasonable shape. When going to Pearl Harbor make sure that you leave about an hour or so to see the USS Bowfin submarine. A great oppertunity to see the inside of a real submarine. Take lots of pictures both inside and out. more

Excellent attraction, unfortunately my camera batteries died shortly after boarding and I wasn't able to get any pictures. A definate must see! more

I didn't know what to expect when we boarded, but I was pleasantly surprised. You get to see so much of the sub in such a short walk. My girlfriend, who isn't interested in military or history, loved it. Great for everyone to see exactly how our men live while serving on a sub. more

We took our two pre-teen boys here simply because you can get a good "combo" admission price along with entrance to the Battleship Missouri, but it ended up being one of the most interesting stops on our vacation.
