Anchuca is a beautiful, historic house in downtown vickburg run by a team of wonderfully helpful people. We stayed there for 3 nights with our teenage son. Lovely restoration, gentile clientele, warm but refined service, and excellent food. We stayed at the Anchuca in April 2008 after reading the favourable reviews on Trip Advisor. I had always wanted to stay at an antibellum home and I chose this one because I felt it was tastefully done, the Brits hate overkill which happens sometimes with American historic homes.
