I am from Seneca falls and at times it is great being from a place where history took place. But times it is hard. People come here expecting those of us who live here to all be these super empowered career women. I am a happy home maker with four wonderful kids. I love taking my kids down to play... more

The reenactment of the women's rights movement was very well done on July 17, 2004. The characters were very real and the whole experience made us feel empowered to get involved with social rights issues. Just to think about all that happened from just a handful of women 150 years ago is empowering. There still is much to be done... more
