The Lower Yellowstone River Falls was beautiful from afar but it was even more breathtaking up close. The hike down to the brink of the Falls takes about 10-15 minutes. The Lower Falls is so beautiful that it is hard to get away from that and move on. It would be a good idea to be able to spend some time there. more
Yellowstone in September was beautiful. The lower falls are definitely something not to miss! The scenery is out of this world and the sky is so blue. We got some great pictures. Was not crowded at this time of the year. more
My family visited Yellowstone in July 2007. Three of us took the stairs down to the lower falls called Uncle Tom's Trail. The views are tremendous. Toured in July, 2007. This was my favorite waterfall in Yellowstone. Located in the beautiful Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Huge, powerful waterfall located in the yellow/orange/red of the Canyon.
