“Beautiful ride”

My husband and I took the 2 hour trail ride. We all had very sure-footed and well-behaved mules. We saw a safety video before heading out. There were a lot of rocky trails, but the mules were great. We walked through the woods; we experienced no traffic, and the scenery was awesome. It was a great experience.

My daughter and I went horsebacking riding in Yosemite. The stable staff were super nice and friendly. The trail ride was beautiful. We rode along the river and had a great view of half dome. I would encourage famlies to visit the stables. Bring water with you , a small camera and enjoy!

Wawona Stable half day trail ride. 5 hours up to a waterfall. 40 minutes walking on a road to get to the trail. Up very slippery asphalt for about 1/2 mile and then on to the trail. It was very steep, but the mules were very sure-footed and very fit. After a few hours of going up, the guide stopped... More

We took the 2hr Mule/Horseback ride in June 08, thoroughly enjoyed it, although this ride did not cater for experienced riders like us it didn't get boring. Beginners were well catered for, safety first! All riders had to indicate their level of experience and were matched up with a suitable animal. Prior to mounting the horse we had to watch... More
