Many people, even in California, do not know about this area of Yosemite National Park. It is High Country, on the Eastern side of the park. Yosemite National Park is one of the crown jewels of the National Park Service and heavily visited during the summer vacation months. This meadow would be beautiful in the spring with all the wildflowers blooming but still a nice place to stop and let the kids run around on the rocks and follow the paths around.. We ran into several little critters in the meadow too! more

it's a great place to get away from crowds and just have fun! the campsites are awesome nad it has a really fun river to swim in that everyone can enjoy! more
