My husband and I went on an adventure trip on on honeymoon last year in Puerto Vallarta that included zip lines as well as a couple of rappels. We had a great time so when we discovered that there was canyoneering where we were going for our anniversary trip, we jumped at the opportunity to spend a day canyoneering. It... more

Zion Adventure Company offers tours on its Unimog, a 4-wheel adventure on steroids. It was originally a troop transport for Swiss Army. THe 2.5-hour tour takes you through the quaint town of Rockville, then to the historic town of Grafton, a 1800s era Mormon settlement that has a restored/preserved church/schoolhouse, a house and cabin plus the graveyard. Several movies were... more

The employees were very helpful and knowledgable. We had two transactions, one in renting equipment for the Narrows hike (walking stick, neoprene booties and hiking/water boots) and the other the off-road tour they offer. Their prices are reasonable and they offer a wide range of guided and unguided activities. Great place to start your exploration of Zion National Park. Our... more

First impressions went a long way when trying to decide which adventure company to utilize. When Scott Williams returned my phone call, he not only relinquished any fears I had about mountain biking slick rock but his enthusiasm had me riled up when I got off of the phone! I literally yelled out with excitement when we hung up! Scott... more

Having trips booked the first two days with Zion adventure company gave us the confidence then to really go and explore the area. The tips on the local area were really appreciated and the employees couldn't be more helpful. Would recommend anyone visiting Zion to use the company first and the hire kit for the narrows is a must. The... more

I went tubing with some reluctance because all of my research left me unsure about the event. There were 6 of us and we were easily separated by the current, but it was also easy for those ahead to wait in shallow spots. Although I agree it would have been nice to have something to help steer, we had a... more

We signed up for a day of canyoneering and had a great day with our gude, Calvin. He allowed us to make a lot of decisions about descending by rope or by climbing ourselves, only stopping us if we picked a stupid thing to do. ANyway, brilliant day out and Calvin was an awesome host. When in Zion - Do... more

We thought we'd take a day to relax and go tubing down the virgin river. In all fairness the guy that worked behind the desk said that it would be a bit rocky- which it was- but overall the experience was pretty enjoyable UNTIL... they forgot to pick us up at the River Park way down the road. The girl... more

We just got back from Zion, and it was a great trip!! Despite being colder, the advantage was that there were not many people. We had came to Zion Natl Park, really wanting to hike the Narrows. The first day we got there, the park ranger told us the Riverside Trail leading to the Narrows was closed due to ice.... more

If you want to go on an adventure and you don’t know where to start, stop in the Zion Adventure Company (ZAC). We wandered in on our first day in town and ended up booking two fabulous excursions. The staff is helpful and very nice. Our first excursion was canyoneering. Our guide, Nick, was awesome. (The other couple in the... more
