We went to make an early morning (6am) whales watching out 10 miles from Mirissa harbour (southern province 40 km under Galle).
We've used a local fisherman boat, not really speed and confortable but good enough to make us happy to watch at whales passing from southern Sri lankan beaches to migrate to souther Indian ocean toward Antartide pole.
