Ok I don't see how anybody would not like that...The waters are so clear, so blue, so everything... We rented a boat from the Miramar Hotel in Propriano and went there with a skipper, and all the picnic baskets prepared by the hotel (they are great, don't forget to order them). It was truly the highlight of our stay! Just... More

We took a boat from Bonifacio port and in half an hour we were at this little paradise. The boat left us there and picked us up 4 hours later. It's highly recommended to take food, water and protection from the sun, as the island doesn't have anything!

What a magical place. Yes it's desolate but that is part of the beauty. Take your own stuff and you're ok, simple! We went on a boat from Porto Vecchio (charming place) and cruised on the lovely east coast heading south, past Palommagia and the Rondinara beaches and stopped at the Lavezzi Islands for lunch on board. We stayed at... More

The island has nothing, not even shade, so bring that as well. And come early as the few small beaches quickly become crowded. In addition it is a maze of pths on the island with no map so you can spend some time trying to find a good spot to lie down, especially since the beaches a few and small.... More

We had a fantastic day here. Starting at Bonifacio, the best strategy was to park close to the harbour rather than go all the way to the Citadel, if you're intending to go on a boat trip. You do need to have everything with you if you're going to spend a few hours on the Iles de Levazzi, as there... More

Really, it was rubbish! You'll pay 27.50 euros per person (4 companies operate a price fixing deal in the port) to go there. 30 minutes to go direct and an hour on the way back. You'll be dropped on the worst part of the island, 30 minutes walk from the main beach near the cimetary. No shade anywhere and it's... More
