I guess it's the norm since no one seemed upset that the 6am ferry was late and we had to wait for the 9am ride over to Vieques. No problem - we headed down the road about 1/2 a block to eat some great breakfast sandwiches and fresh coffee. Ferry tickets are sold in a different building around the corner... More

We had our tickets purchased ahead of time as we were doing a Kayak/Snorkel tour on Culebra. The line for the ferry can get long, but it is a good sized boat, so this should be expected. The only bad thing I can say is that when I went to use the restroom, I didn't as there was no toilet... More

Lots to do,snorkel, but watch tide and coral. Volleyball, bars, plenty of chairs. All this once the ferry drops you at the island.

Pro- takes you to an AMAZING beach called Flamenco.. white sand and lifeguard Con- Rough ride, make sure and take a dramamine if you have a sensative stomach. I have been to Isla De La Culebra 3 times and do it everytime we go to PR!

The seats are comfortable and the trip was faster than we expected. We arrived early in the morning to buy our tickets, went back to our B&B to eat breakfast, and then returned to catch our ferry to Vieques.

After reading horrendous reviews of the Fajardo ferry system, we were pleasantly surprised that it was not too bad. Our tickets were purchased for us ahead of time, so picking them up the morning of our trip went fine. One bad thing about the ride was the restrooms...no toilet paper, paper towels or soap. Really? I would not think that... More

Average ferry ride. Inside upstairs was FREEZING due to high AC temp settings that they would not lower. Everyone was wrapped in their towels to keep warm or rode outside. Lower interior deck wasn't as bad.

Culebra was breath taking the beach was like huge pool. Dislike no signs or direction. You must purchase the ticket across the street from ferry, also you have to pay extra for taking cooler onto ferry. Upon arrival you have to pay an additional 3.00 per person to go to the flamenco beach each way cash only.
