I think that the archeological museum of Rhodes, is a lot more interesting than the palace of the knights which is a reconstruction after all..beautiful building, excellent and unique artifacts and great collections! The gardens are worth a visit too, herbes and plants typical of Rhodes and the most exquisit mosaics from the ancient banquet rooms of the rodian houses,... More

The exibits are very good but it is the building itself that is the star . A wonderful place with some gardens and quiet corners to sit and maybe have a drink and a snack away from the crowds .

Seeing the buildings and artwork of the old knights is very impressive. The gardens are a quiet relaxing spot with fountains cooling the air. What is also interesting is when the Turks took over the changes they made to the old knights accommodations.

Beautiful garden, very peaceful! Nice expositions and locations but in general the feeling was that it was ill-organized, some exhibits were just tossed aside on the corridors and left abandoned.

We visited in early April and were disappointed to find that the rooms about the history of Rhodes and the Knights Templar were closed. Also, lots of things in Rhoses closed early (3:00 pm) due to the season. However, the reconstructed building was fantastic to see.
