We quite often come up to the Falls of Shin, October is a great time to watch the salmon try and get up the falls. There are some short circular trails, one suitable for wheelchairs and the gift shop stocks some lovely stuff. The restaurant is a lovely place to stop for lunch and the food is always great and... This was a brief stop on our way through on a cycle tour, but we were very impressed and sorry we didn't have time to settle ourselves in the large, but cosy restaurant for a coffee and home baking. Amazing shop and the falls themselves are great. Very friendly staff. More

On this visit we arrived quite late on a Sunday afternoon and managed to order dinner for at the cafeteria. It was quiet but the... More

We visited the falls and were lucky enough to see the salmon jumping, amazing. The scenery is stunning. "The Falls of Shin" visitor centre is though not much more than an over-priced restaurant. We waited some time to be served, as two members of staff behind the till chatted. They eventually called over a young girl cleaning tables to come and... More
