I visited this place a 2 weeks ago, and saw a couple of salmon jumping, which was a 1st for me. The landscape is beautiful, and there is a lovely woodland walk, The cafe and gift shop (AKA "visitor centre"), where great, although a little pricey. However I learned from my brother who lives locally, that the visitor centre burned... More

The waterfalls aren't the most impressive I have seen but access to the falls is easy and safe. The visitor centre is basically a gift shop and cafe. It would have been nice to see some geographical/ geological information. The gift shop is nice and the loos are clean. The cafe served lovely food and we enjoyed the best latte... More

We arrived just after 15.00hrs and could not get even a drink. I used the disabled/accessible loo, it was clean but badly equipped. The drop down rail was broken/missing, there was no toilet seat (just a removable raiser seat - no use whatsoever) and no pull/emergency cord. However, the staff were really helpful and friendly. Didn't,t visit the falls because... More

I love this place, restaurant serves great food and coffee, great scenery you can walk through the woods or take a short walk down hill to see the salmon leaping. There is an outdoor park for kids too. Overall a great day out for all ages.

This is hilarious. The teensiest waterfall ever, not sure you could even call it a waterfall,it's just a river with some rocks in the middle. Apparently bus loads of people visit here in the summer!! Worth it for the laugh you have when you see how pathetic it is! Nice gift shop there with lots for tourists to buy, cafe... More

The falls were excellent but the shop nearby was a bit overpriced and a bit too touristy. It killed the atmosphere a bit

We travelled along a single road track on a Sunday afternoon and were amazed to see an explosion of people at the Falls of Shin. It was too busy for us so we turned around and left but determined to go back to see what the attraction was. Friday morning was quieter and we managed to get a seat in... More
