Very poignant especially the rememberance garden. The views are amazing and it is always well visited but with plenty of parking space.

The monument is stark, poignant, simple but most effective in conveying the sacrifice made by the commandos trained in the area during the second world war. It is an inspirational and thought provoking monument, it's location defies you to stop which I do every time I visit the area. The views from the monument are awe inspiring. The whole experience... A very peaceful and poignant place with a well-maintained monument and garden with expansive and impressive views. Ample parking. A must place to visit if you are in the Fort William area.

After a night spent in Spean Bridge we decided to stop on top of the hill. For us the view over the highlands was more impressive than the monument itself, however it is worth to visit, because its on a real nice location, well kept and the historic value is quite high

Have never passed this monument without thinking that I should have stopped. My Dad was a Marine in WW2. As well as the Commando Memorial there is a Garden of Remembrance. Marines still dieing for their country.

Breathtaking situation on a good day, very atmospheric on a bad one. The monument is a fitting tribute , the best of it's kind for the best of their kind.

The setting and the monument create some very evocative feelings. The view from Ben Nevis to the Grey Corries has to be one of the best in Scotland.
