This museum is a must for anyone who has an interest in cars both racing, classic and vintage. Motorbikes, army vehicles in battle scenarios, aircraft both civil and military. It will take a full day to see it. The collection is massive. Almost unbelievable. It even includes steam locos from the golden days of steam. They also have an AMAX cinema... More

We visited Sinsheim by train from Heidelberg and liked it so much we went to the sister museum at Speyer the next day. Make no mistake, these are not the polished museums of BMW in Munich, or Porsche and Mercedes in Stuttgart; Speyer and Sinsheim are run by a non profit collectors club, started by someone who wasn't too keen... We were in Germany for only 6 days and we travelled to the museum on New Years Eve as the website advertised that the museum is open 365 days of the year and would be open from 9-7pm. When we arrived at 2.30pm there was a sign on the door stating that the museum was closing at 3pm. The two... More

This was one of the first museums I visited in Germany and I really enjoyed myself. There was so much to see here! Not only are there vehicle and planes on display, there are also trains, old sewing machines, and clothing that was worn many years ago. We easily spent a couple hours here and even walked through a Russian... More

This place has something for everyone. Cars old and new, motor cycles, boats, trains, planes including a Concorde, sewing machines, carriages, military vehicles and uniforms, huge engines, and who knows what else. I doubt you could see it all in three days. There is a big kids area outside and the restaurant is excellent too.

I visited this museum in the afternoon after visiting Speyer, it has an amazing and huge collection of aircraft, cars and trains plus military vehicles, with many rare exhibits. The only 2 supersonic passenger aircraft built, Concorde and the TU-144 greet you from the roof as you arrive and both are fully (except the cockpits) accessible. There are various other... More

A very large selection of fancy, vintage and modern vehicles though somewhat 'jumbled together'. The exhibition hall where the entrance is, was not that good in our opinion, and you should start your visit in the opposite hall since there are the better car exhibitions and you'll take a long time to see everything. To really appreciate all you need... More

Sinsheim Museum - you may have noticed the two "Concordes" on the roof as you pass on the autobahn (though I notice the fence has got higher recently!). I'm sure there have been loads of reviews written about this place, being as it's so interesting - and packed full of various types of transportation and militaria. You like tanks? There... More

We found the museum by chance on the internet and we unsure wether we should go or not. So glad we did! We spent about 2 1/2 hours - but we didn't get a round to see everything. The collection is enormous - there's cars, tractors, planes, tanks and other vehichels from the military ... and a lot of other... More

When approaching this museum, what you notice first is an ex-Soviet swing wing MiG-23 jet fighter on a large pole - on its side. Quite impressive, you might think. Until you turn the corner and see the next “wow factor” - on the roof of the museum, again on a pole in take-off attitude, is none other than a Concord.... More
