golf here is to0 expensive the reason being the reason being too many golfers have more money than sense

Fairways Club is an excellent resort which is located within a golf course in a tiny village...with it's own shop in walking distance and a stones throw from the coast. There are several bars and restaurants on site well worth visiting especially not forgeting the Premier Bar, Cabaret and Karaoke bar which serves excellent food, this bar was recently recommended... Nice well kept course although a bit on the windy side!

If you want to spend your time not only at the swimming pool, play a round !!! Very scenic and nice course, not too difficult for players however ther is quite windy so be carreful with your driver. I will be back.

I am a resident and hold an annual membership of Amarilla Golf. The course is on the Golf del Sur and is a demanding course. I would not choose to stay at the Fairways Club again. It is located in San Miguel de Abona which is a golf community, but if you are not there to golf, you must drive to get to the main tourist attractions of the island.
