We shared a big pot of mussels with home baked bread and a bottle of wine = a perfect lunch. AND it was sunny and warm so we could eat outside, brilliant!

The Old Forge in Inverie lays claim to the title of "Britain`s remotest mainland pub". The location is stunning, situated on the Knoydart peninsula, only accesible by boat. The place was fairly busy, but no more so than a normal spring/summer weekend I`m told. The food was excellent, with a varied menu of seafood & game, I had the scallops....
