Animals had plenty of room to roam,,,first time I'd seen a yak

Wai ariki was a great place to visit for an hour or so. The whole family really enjoyed the animals and atmosphere of this attraction. The venue was well maintained, clean and safe and the perfect opportunity to interact with the wildlife and farm animals. A very worthwhile visit when travelling with children.

This is a fun thing to do with children who enjoy interaction with animals. You can purchase food to give to the animals, there are also horse rides which my girls loved! Nice cozy cafe with great coffee. Worth a visit!

We loved this place. The animals are so friendly and you are actually encouraged to get close to them, feed them and pat them. The animals are in excellent condition and in great facilities. This animal farm is most definitely worth a stop when in Hanmer Springs.
