Stunning and beautiful. I have seen much fjords in NZ and Iceland and I was wondering how more charming can a fjord get. A simply must visit. We went in spring, and a freak weekend snow covered everything white again.

We came into Geiranger along the Fjord as part of a cruise. The views were amazing as we neared the town and I spent a few hours on deck just staring the breathtaking scenery. It was cold though even in May with gloves, insulated clothing necessary for comfort. From the town we took a coach tour to several scenic view... More

The problem with Norwegian holidays is the possibility of rubbish weather. Going on a cruise to the fjords provides the chance for some amazing photos. On all our days, the clouds were low, so colour was not vivid and attractive- black and white photos then! Lots of bus tours on offer to the tops of the mountains, and a little... More

It's just wonderful - great nature - you have to take a trip by boat, where you can see the 7 sisters, but also by car to check out the road ;o) - it's NOT a highway!!

Try the impressing feeling it is to enter the Geirangerfjord by boat, experiencing the steep mountains diving into the sea. The winding roads are also a must if you are not used to small, curved roads with spectacular view.

What a beautiful fjord. Geirangerfjord is definitely worth the WHS title. We had a lot of fun there. Unfortunately, many cruise tourists are in the town during summer and it gets a little bit crowded…
