In our visit fjord was covered with clouds. However the views were still spectacular.
If you like to get a view of spectacular mountains and fjords without hiking up there yourself, this plateau is recommended to get a glimpse of the feeling of mountain hiking. Easy access by car or bus.
Not the most amazing point to visit in Geiranger. My favorite is the Flydalsjuvet spot.
The weather was hideous during our stay at Geiranger, but we chose to drive up to Dalsnibba even with the clouds. On a clear day you should come up with an observation car Dlsnivh (Dalsnibba), located at the beginning of the decline Plain to Geiranger Fjord, the observation height of 1,500 meters, you can see a panoramic view of the surrounded mountains some with snow. This is a toll road

Be ready for the long serpentine toll road (110 NOK for the car). The view is insane, the weather should be too, prepare some warm clothes. You can take a several good pics "on the edge" with a steep behind.
A little bit expensive but worth the money and the effort to get there. After the toll booth at 1039 m above sea level you will follow a twisty gravel road up to the very top of the Dalsnibba mountain (1500 m asl). There is a place to park a car, buy some souvenirs and, most importantly, admire the view...
