only 3 decent rides for young teenagers. 1 was broken the 2 nd broke down after 1,5 hour in the queu. over 2 hours in the queu for the third. We left after 4 hours of pure frustration. food over the top expensive. Our girls only had 1 ride! Worst day out ever. SCANDALOUS more

Over the last two years my daughter and I have been doing the Madam Tussaud's group of theme parks that have included Legoland, Alton Towers, Chessington and now Thorpe Park. Its become something of a quest to these parks together and she wanted bragging rights at school as her class mates have only done Alton Towers. We had a BOGOF... more

I am a huge fan of rollercoasters so I was looking forward to 'Stealth' 0-80 in 2 seconds.... To find when I went to the queue that it was closed. The reason? The ride was overheating. I wasn't going on the ride after I heard that! Another rollercoaster called 'Rush' was closed. I don't think it's worth the money and... more

I have visited the Thorpe park for the halft term holidays beginning this year. I have bought the tickets online in advance online to avoid a queu at the entrance, but unfortunately i wasn't the only one with this idea. The queu at the unattractive and odd ticket pick up box office was 3 times longer as the normal one.... more

OK if you want to use public transport there is a frequent bus from staines station, £3.00 return, and of course frequent trains to London. Remember rides like stealth have a single rider queue which means avoiding long queues as long as you dont like getting wet. the major rides are definitely worth going on. X is really bad, a... more

If you have small children, give it a miss, this is for teenagers and young adults only. If you have younger kids take them to Chessington It is expensive for what you get which is a few thrillseeker rides with long queues, up to 1.5 hours for the best ones. All side arcaeds and games are a cost option. On... more

Absolutely fantastic fun for anyone over the age of 13. This is a day out that you will remember although it will make a significant dent in your wallet. Since trading the 'baby' rides with chessington, Thorpe park has taken on a much more daring approach with many terrifying roller coasters. Collossus was the worlds first ten looping roller coaster,... more
