We have been here quite a few times as my Dad was here when the Germans inside surrendered! My kids have enjoyed different things each time we visit, now teenagers they are still happy to go. They particularly like the range finder which you can look through, and from where there is a fantastic view.

This museum really helps you to understand what it was like to be in Ouistreham during WW2.

This was our favourite of all the museums we visited in Normandy. Interesting and informative with a large number of exhibits - and a great view of the harbour and coastline from the observation deck on top.

Typical historic event collection of artefacts, but very real, though some of the dummies were a bit weird! Good value for money 7euro per person, climb to the top needs stamina though, I'd visit again even so.

A really interesting visit. There is so much to see and lots of information to read, very informative. Would not recommend for anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs!
