As a family of four, this bunker was an interest to us all. Admission was 24 Euros but you are walking in a surviving bunker of D-Day history. Five floors, no lift but each floor is well presented. Original photos and little things that make this place peak your curiosity of what may have been happening here on June 7,... More

Chocked full of authentic pieces, the Grand Bunker provides an eerie stroll through history. One comical addition is the Nazi mannequins, several of which had crazy eyes and maniacal smiles. To the victor goes the discretion of mannequin design, I suppose. For fans of the movie "Saving Private Ryan," you can see the boat used in the movie, located in... More

We have been here quite a few times as my Dad was here when the Germans inside surrendered! My kids have enjoyed different things each time we visit, now teenagers they are still happy to go. They particularly like the range finder which you can look through, and from where there is a fantastic view.

This museum really helps you to understand what it was like to be in Ouistreham during WW2.

This was our favourite of all the museums we visited in Normandy. Interesting and informative with a large number of exhibits - and a great view of the harbour and coastline from the observation deck on top.

This is a very good museum created inside an old German WW II command point, it has lots of impressive exhibits inside. Outside there are replica tanks, V rockets and the actual landing craft that was used in the film Saving Private Ryan. It costs 7.5 Euros to get in but is well worth it. Please note there are quite... More

Typical historic event collection of artefacts, but very real, though some of the dummies were a bit weird! Good value for money 7euro per person, climb to the top needs stamina though, I'd visit again even so.

Intresting place to visit. A genuine bunker used by the germans during their occupation of France. A collection of weapons, clothing and photographs. Entry is 7 euro each for adults. Outside is a landingcraft used in the war that was also used in the movie saving private Ryan. Parking is in the street but room enough! http://www.musee-grand-bunker.com/englishversion.asp
