We spent a week in west clare and the only restaurant that provided food that I would highly recommend was the restaurant in the Golf Club in Doonbeg. I had a lovely fish pie, with rhubarb crumble for desert. Yummy!

Staff lifting full drinks from guests tables all night long. Was it because there was a free bar all day?

Very challenging with the deep bunkers and the long grass. The signature hole was a lot of fun to play.

We when for a birthday ground and castle are very nice.Food was just ok nothing to write home about.Very expensive package chips.If i am going someplace like this for a bar lunch would least expect homemade chips.Wont be in a hurry back again

I only went for the restaurant not the golf! Lovely location, superb food, great staff. Definitely upmarket and definitely not for the stingy! Was worth every penny in my view.

I would like to go and just stay here for 10 days. Lovely course and views. Staff good proshop wonderful.

My friend and I stayed here for three days and hated to leave. We stayed in one of the three-story townhouses and had the greatest time. The staff was unreal! Very helpful...total luxury. The accommodations were out of this world. Everything you could ask for. And of course the golf course was pristine.
