Castellana caves are visitable with 2 different walking tours: the shortest is only 1 km, the second one 3 km. As the difference in price is low (only 5 euros) I suggest for sure the full tour, otherwise you won't see the best part, ending with the white cave, that is absolutely stunning!

Go, but try to find out what time the tour goes for your language. Cool inside, so great in summer. We went for the short tour and that was enough for us. Def. worth a visit. For anyone not wanting to go when others do, there is a nice cafe not far from the entrance.

This is an interesting example of a Grotto, the trips and guides are very informative and its perfect on a hot puglian summer day

These grottoes are amazing and well worth a visit. Lovely and cool too when outside is in the high 30s'! The white cave at the end is breathtaking............and the rest is brilliant. I've done a few caves in my time, but this was by far the best.

Castellana grotte looks like the entrance of hell! It's an amazing cavern with the most beautiful stalactites and stalagmites you never ever seen in your life! I definily recommend.
