And in the heart of Ireland’s horse-racing country lies Kildare Village. The chosen destination for discerning shoppers, Kildare Village has over 55 stylish outlet boutiques and is designed to capture the charm and scale of the region’s stud farms, creating a relaxing shopping experience. Anya Hindmarch, Cath Kidston, Molton Brown and Hackett are among the thoroughbred European brands showcased here, including celebrated Irish designer Louise Kennedy with her only outlet store worldwide. Their stablemates include such renowned international names as Aquascutum, Hugo Boss, Thomas Pink, Tommy Hilfiger, 7 For All Mankind, Lacoste, DKNY, Wolford, Juicy Couture and super-trendy Superdry – with reductions of up to 60% on the recommended retail price, all year round. Other winning features include the authentic Italian cuisine served at L’Officina Restaurant and the ease of getting to Kildare Village. Irish Rail operates a regular daily train service from Dublin Heuston station to Cork, Galway and Waterford stopping at Kildare, with connections for Ireland’s scenic west coast. The Kildare Village Shopping Express coach service is a daily service with frequent departures to Kildare Village from Dublin airport and Dublin city centre (George's Quay), and from Shannon Airport and Limerick city. Dublin Airport is 60 minutes away. « less

there are relatively few shops, and there aren't a lot of items at deep discounts, but its the closest we found in ireland to outlet shopping. and, you get some UK brand stores which you don't have in north america there is a relatively large starbucks where you can sit and put your feet up

I've been to Kildare Village twice, both times because I was in the vicinity. The weather has been unkind on both occasions. Kildare Village is a well laid out shopping experience but without adequate shelter for those who wish to stand and peruse the shops while making up their minds which to visit first. On this occasion the large car... More

Very similar to US outlet shops, like Woodbury Common with Ralp Lauren, Hilfiger and Designers Guild. Chech website for current directory. Worth a visit if you have already rented a car, or are in Dublin and have an extra day to shop. There is busservice from Dublin. I'm a Ralph Lauren girl, and at this place I found the same... More

Great shopping and a nice restaurant, also a Starbucks if you feel like a coffee. Always too crowded and impersonal so I opt for the Italian restaurant at the end of the plaza. Lots of parking and its free so no wondering when the meter will expire. Lovely place to meet up with friends.

Similiar to the outlet malls in the US but smaller. I was interested in the ASICS and the north face stores. I saved €45 on a pair of last seasons ASICS i was going to buy at full price and €100 on a North Face jacket. Certainly worth a visit.
