A beautiful country inn in a fantastic location, I have visited this place on several occasions and always found it to be excellent though a bit expensive. Food and drinks are always of excellent quality so overall well worth it.

A steady customer of some years the last two visits have not come up to the standards that we have experienced in the past. The food was very good, but not excellent. The prices have raised the question of value for money and the most recent service was efficient but lacking the friendliness that we have come to expect.
I visit regularly. Still lovely food and nice atmosphere. If I was being really critical I would say it has lost some of it edge from a couple of years ago, but still very much worth a visit.

Im always a bit worried about going to places with such good reviews- however after going to this place over the last few years it has never let me down. The setting is brilliant, great selection of ales and wine, service is brilliant- the staff seem to enjoy themselves whilst working and the food is second to none around the...

From start to finish a truly memorable meal. Attentive staff who are fully knowledgeable about the food they are serving, great wine list at sensible prices, nice, quirky decor that has had real thought. A great find. Try the sister Beech House Hotel across the road to really complete your visit.
Whether it is a special event or simply a Friday night down the pub, The Olive Branch won't disappoint. Try the Olive Oil (brewed in Rutland) with some cashews at the bar, or go al fresco on the patio with a sharing board, or snuggle down hearth side with a main dish of pheasant or lamb depending on what is...

We visited The Olive Branch for a friend's birthday and stayed across the road at Beech House. There were over 20 of us, but the service and food were amazing. Every course was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented, the staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgable about the food and wine and we all had a great time. The evening...

We were a reasonably big group, service was spot on, every dish turned out perfect, we all loved it.
We stayed at neighbouring Beech House. At the Olive Branch dinner and breakfast were both excellent - delicious, fresh food and friendly service. Highly recommended.
