Punta Cometa is 10 minutes walking from the cementery near Mazunte. the path that leads you there is a bit crap, but if you ignore that it is fine.

I was down there most days, nice views and great fishing.

The southernmost point of Oaxaca state, if you're in Mazunte a walk out here to see the sunset is compulsory. But be warned, the end of the peninsula is very exposed, and gets extremely hot.
